We are excited to announce several new features in the UCare app designed to streamline your workflow and improve your overall experience with managing finances. Here’s a closer look at what’s new:
1. Payment Batches
Managing cash, checks, and other donations just got easier with our new Batches feature. This feature allows you to group payments from a service, simplifying reconciliation. Once a batch is complete, commit it to ensure none of the payments can be changed.
2. Payment Funds
Funds are specific categories where you can allocate donations. They help you track where the money is going and ensure it’s used for the intended purpose. Think of them as different buckets for different causes. Funds are also used to track pledges for fundraising campaigns that are on target.
3. Stripe Payouts
We’ve integrated Stripe payouts to help you reconcile the payments received through Stripe with your bank account or general ledger. Payouts include all the payments included in the deposit and the funds used. They also allow you to see the effective transaction fee rate Stripe is charging you, potentially helping larger churches negotiate a lower rate.
4. Payment Summary Dashboard
Our new Payment Summary Dashboard provides a detailed breakdown of your transactions. Accessing and interpreting donations, events, and other payments is now more straightforward, allowing you to track church finances easily.
5. Pledges
With our new Pledges feature, managing pledges for church fundraising has never been easier. You can now record pledges, track them from the payments page, and view a person’s pledges on their profile (see image) with ease. There is also a Pledge form you can easily share with your people so they can enter their pledges. These features ensure you have a comprehensive view of all pledges, making it simpler to manage and track church fundraising.
We hope these new features enhance your experience with the UCare app. Stay tuned for more updates and improvements as we continue to work on making UCare the best tool for your church. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to our support team.
