UCare makes eligible future-dated payments clearer and adds safeguards when a payment is still being processed.
Schedule a payment
- Open your organization’s giving form and choose the fund and amount.
- Review When and choose the intended start date and repeat options available on the form.
- Choose a saved payment method or add a new one where offered.
- Review the amount, start date, and any repeat settings before confirming.
- Read the result and keep the confirmation.
For a supported payment whose first charge is in the future, the action shows Schedule with the amount. A successful setup confirms:
Your payment has been scheduled. No payment has been taken yet.
That message means the schedule was set up. It does not mean you’ve already collected a payment.
Saved methods and dates
An eligible new method offers Save this payment method for future use. The available methods and repeat options depend on your organization’s Stripe setup and the payment being made.
Calendar time-zone labels follow the selected date, including daylight-saving differences. Check the intended local start date before confirming.
If the result is uncertain
Check the original payment or schedule result before starting again. A confirmed payment and an unfinished schedule are different outcomes. Follow the recovery message, or ask an administrator or UCare support to check the original transaction.
Safeguards for staff
- You can’t delete payments that are still processing. If a selected group contains a blocked processing payment, the system does not remove any payments in that delete request. Wait and review the result before trying again.
- Fund totals exclude deleted payments and pledges.
See Browse payments — past, future and pledges for an introduction to the payment tabs. Ask your administrator for help with a schedule you need to check.
