Learn how to create small groups and use meetings to record their attendance regularly.
Attendance can be valuable information for a church to collect; as such, UCare makes it easy for you to get almost anyone involved. If a meeting is set to repeat, then any person with an email address can be sent an attendance report reminder. Thirty minutes before the meeting time, UCare sends notifications to the selected attendance people; when they tap the link, it will open a page similar to the following.
To best take advantage of this, view the report on a smartphone. Tap each person to check them off and add new people along with any individual or meeting notes worth reporting. Check "Meeting not held" if the group didn't meet and enter a brief description of the reason.
Tip: The people who receive attendance notifications don't need to have access to UCare. The notification email includes a link to the attendance report that they can quickly fill out. When they tap "Submit," UCare sends an email to the leaders of the group.
Note: When a person is added on the report, and a profile with the same name and contact info already exists, then a new profile isn't created. Instead, the existing person is recorded as having attended the meeting.
Tip: The report includes Recent visitors; if a visitor attends three times within 60 days, they will automatically become a group member.
Attendance summary
After attendance reports are submitted, an email notification like the following is sent to all group leaders with details of who attended, who was absent, who was new and any notes.
