What are Batches?
Batches group cash, checks, or external payments, simplifying reconciliation.
Create a Batch
1. Tap on Payments in the main menu, then select the ‘Batches’ tab.
2. Tap ‘Add payment batch’
3. Fill in these details:
- Enter a batch type; this can be used to group batches in a way that makes sense for your church.
- Give it a name that clearly represents its purpose.
- Optionally, enter a description for the batch.
- Optionally, if the batch should only be viewed by a limited group of people, select the security areas required to view it.
4. Once you’ve filled in the details, hit ‘Save.’ Your new batch is now ready to track donations.
Add a payment or donation.
Record any donations or payments you receive from people. When entering the payment details, select your new batch.
Commit the Batch
Commit the Batch when you have finished adding payments; this will close the batch so that additional payments can’t be added.
To commit the batch, click Batch not committed and then Commit batch.
