View and edit events


Manage ticketing for your events both large and small. UCare processes payments, and helps you keep in contact with event attendees via SMS or email. You can add an event list and booking forms to you website, this makes it simple to publish new events to your website just by adding the event to UCare. UCare even lets you can use any smartphone to scan ticket, check in kids and attendees and track attendance.

The sold progress bar displays how many tickets have been sold and the total amount charged, likewise the refunded progress bar displays how many tickets have been refunded and the total amount refunded. The last progress bar; "Checked in" displays the total number of people who have been checked in by having their ticket scanned. Tip: When tickets are free people often don't turn up for events making it hard to manage seating levels. A simple answer to this problem is to charge a small amount for tickets and then refund the tickets at the end of night, you may even suggest to attendees on the night that not refunding their tickets is an easy way to give towards the event. The refund progress bar makes it easy for you to keep track of how many tickets have been refunded.


In order for people to book tickets to an event it needs to have one or more ticket types, you can add ticket types by tapping the "New ticket type" button on the Ticket types tab. The Ticket types tab also shows how many tickets have been sold for each ticket type.

You can also create meetings for events that can be used to check people in and keep track of adult or even children's attendance at your event.


Side panel

The side panel is displayed on the right hand side of the page, if you are viewing on device with a small screen such as a tablet or phone you can access it by tapping 

The side panel includes extra options, tasks, export and a handy sales chart that displays sales for the last 30 days. Hovering or tapping the photo will display options to change, edit or delete the photo and on many newer tablets and phones you will be able to change the photo using the camera.

The options include opening the event check in page, sending all people who have booked tickets an SMS or email message, you can also get the code required to add the booking form to your website. If you are an admin you will also see "Latest activity". If you tap this you will be able to see the people that have viewed this and all the changes that have been made. The export all payments option will let you download a CSV file of all payments made for the event that can be used with other products to reconcile accounts.


Send SMS message

If you have permission to send SMS messages then selecting this option will display the following form. By default messages will be sent from the mobile number that was registered when your UCare account was created, you can change it by changing your access. If a Sender ID has been added under security area settings then that will also be displayed, in this example MyChurch is the Sender ID.

Note: By default the max length of messages is 160 for normal characters or 70 for non-Latin/Unicode characters. But if you would like to send longer messages please contact support as we can increase this for you, although each message can cost extra after enabling this.
